Any reference to ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ throughout the following Terms and Conditions and this website refers, at all times, to Toucan Online.
Any reference to ‘you’ or ‘your’ refers, at all times, to our users and customers.
The below Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Toucan website. You must read our Terms and Conditions before engaging with our brand. Once you engage in our service, you are assumed to have read, understood and are therefore bound by these Terms and Conditions, at all times, whilst interacting with our brand.
THE TOUCAN SERVICE
Toucan is all about creating beautiful and unique homewares. We specialize in Prints and Bedroom Décor for every home and to suit every style. We always endeavour to provide 100% customer satisfaction with our customer care and gorgeous products.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, if we deem him or her to be misusing our service or using our service in an unlawful manner.
Furthermore, we reserve the right to make alterations to our service, products or prices, at any time, without notice or consequence.
Once you have made your selection on our website, you can place the item or items in your shopping basket and begin our secure checkout process.
During checkout, you may either register an account with us, or checkout as a guest. Creating an account will allow you to log in to our website and keep track of your order history with us. We will also remember details about your visit to make your future visits quicker and easier for you.
We will collect certain details from you during the checkout process and you will be prompted throughout. After your order is complete, you will receive a confirmation email from us. If you do not receive this email, or if any details are incorrect, please contact us immediately.
GST will be added to the total value of your order at the final stage of checkout. You are liable to pay the full amount displayed for your chosen item or items, plus the GST amount added.
Payment of the full price displayed in AUD (or your relevant country’s conversion rate) must be paid at the time of purchase, with the exception of valid Afterpay orders.
All prices displayed are current, but are subject to change, at our discretion.
We accept payment via PayPal (which includes a credit card option) or direct bank deposit. PayPal is a secure and convenient way of processing your payment.
We will not be responsible for any delays in payment clearance and cannot ship orders until we have received payment in full.
We also cannot promise the availability of your desired stock if payment does not clear or cannot be taken for any reason.
Due to the fact that our products are made to order, once your order is confirmed, we are unable to accept cancellations. Because of this, we ask that you consider your order carefully before you finalize checkout.
We are more than happy to assist you, in any way we can, in the selection of your items.
We offer free shipping on all Australian orders over the value of $150.00 with the exception of all items listed in Bedroom Décor.
Shipping costs on orders under $150.00 will be calculated during checkout and will depend on the content of your order.
Most orders are shipped using the Australia Post Parcel Post service however, this is subject to the dimensions.
Once your order is confirmed, it may take up to 10 days to ship. This is due to the fact that our products are personalized or made to order and we like to make sure they are perfect before we send them out to you.
Delivery times will vary based on your location. For all domestic metro orders, please allow two weeks for delivery. If you are located in a regional area please allow 3 weeks. International customers should allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
If you require your products urgently, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org before placing your order (or as soon as possible after) to arrange express shipping.
Shipping times are merely a guideline and in many cases your order will arrive sooner. We are not responsible for delays in shipping times due to postage service delays or any other delays that stem directly from circumstances beyond our control.
Please allow the shipping timeframes stated above before contacting us about your order. Under no circumstances will we replace an order before these shipping times have lapsed. If your order has not arrived after these times, please contact Australia Post if a tracking number was provided. If they are unable to remedy your issue, please contact us at: email@example.com and we will seek to assist you.
IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES
If you are ordering from outside Australia, we assume that you are aware of any import duties or taxes that may apply in your country.
We will not be responsible for the payment of any such costs, nor will we be responsible for replacing goods that may be seized by customs in your country.
RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
We do not accept returns for refund or exchange under any circumstances. Products are made to order and a lot of time and care goes into creating each order. Because of the fact that we are unable to provide refunds or exchanges for change of mind, we encourage to consider your order carefully before confirming.
We take a lot of care when packaging orders for shipment, and each item is inspected thoroughly for defects before it is sent to its new home.
All A4 prints are packed in plastic protective pockets with boxboard and are sent in a rigid envelope for extra protection.
A3- A1 prints or posters are rolled up carefully and placed in appropriate mailing tubes.
If your item arrives damaged please contact us within 48 hours with your order number and photographs/descriptions of the damage alleged. We will assess damage on a case-by-case basis and it is at our discretion to determine whether an item can be returned or refunded on the basis of damage.
We reserve the right to refuse to accept the return of any product if we do not deem it to have been damaged during postage and handling. Furthermore we will refuse a damaged return if you have not provided us with an e-mail notification and appropriate corresponding photographs within the specified time period after receiving your order.
If your order is deemed as having been damaged in transit, we will provide you with a replacement as soon as practicable. Your initial item must be returned to us in an un-used condition, including all original tags and packaging.
From time to time we may offer promotions to our lovely customers. These may include, but are not limited to, discount codes, vouchers or giveaways.
These promotions will only be valid for specified periods, and any and all conditions must be complied with in order to successfully redeem or qualify for promotional benefits.
We reserve the right to suspend, cancel or modify any such promotions, at any time without notice or consequence.
We make every effort to ensure that the images and descriptions of our products are accurate. We cannot, however, be liable for differences in colour or appearance that may be attributed to variations in calibration of your computer monitor or handheld device.

In addition to this, because our items are handmade, they may differ slightly from product to product. Any variation that may exist in colour, appearance or otherwise, is not considered a fault and is instead reflective of the uniqueness of each item.
Our Rattan Toys are intended for decorative purposes only and should NOT be considered toys for children. The small parts incorporated in these designs are hazardous and care should be taken to ensure that children are not left unattended with these items.
Before you begin to enjoy your Toucan purchases, please take note of any care and safety instructions listed on our website. They will assist you in ensuring the longevity of your beautiful Toucan products.
Unfortunately we do not offer a warranty period for any of our products. We encourage customers to follow all product care guidelines listed here, in the product description, or that accompany your product and take all reasonable precautions to ensure the long-life, quality and safety of your items.
